Lengths and Weights

Well, I measured and weighed all of my kids today . So here are their names, sex, ages, lengths, and weights along with some pics:

Name: Kai
Sex: Male
Age: 3 1/2 years (Guess)
STL: 26 inches (Plus 1-2 inches of tail that broke off)
SVL: 8 inches
Weight: 412 grams

Name: Oscar
Sex: Female
Age: 3 1/2 years (Guess)
STL: 21.25 inches
SVL: 6 inches
Weight: 202 grams

Name: Dori
Sex: Female
Age: 3 1/2 years (Guess)
STL: 15 inches (She lost over half of her tail)
SVL: 5.75 inches
Weight: 134 grams

Name: Lightning
Sex: Unknown
Age: 10 months (Guess)
STL: 12 inches
SVL: 3.5 inches
Weight: 23 grams

Name: Michelangelo (Baby Mike, Mikey)
Sex: Unknown
Age: 10 months (Guess)
STL: 10 inches
SVL: 2.75 inches
Weight: 12 grams

Name: Kermit
Sex: Unknown
Age: 10 months (Guess)
STL: 10 inches
SVL: 2.75 inches
Weight: 15 grams

All 3 adults were purchased at the same time 2 years ago from Petco. I belive they were about 18 months when I bought them because they were rather big, but still young enough not to be able to determine sex.
Lightning and Michelangelo were bought at the same time 9 months ago also from Petco. I just added another month to give some wiggle room for their ages, but they are definitely 9 or 10 monts old.
Kermit was bought about 8 months ago from Petco as well. I am guessing he is the same age, maybe a month younger. He is the same size as Michelangelo, but Baby Mike had some serious growth issues - he just now got to where he is, for a while I thought he'd never grow. So Kermit is probably 8 or 9 months old, but it's just easier to give them all the same age .

Like I said on the other forum, great info and presenatation of the info red, thank you. It's always nice to have that data around. Think a year from now someone could be pointing a new owner to your post to get length and weight data for there dragons .

I agree with Pooka. Great presentation.I would like to do that with mine,but I haven't been able to find my scale.Oh, I wanna do a guessing game with your baby dragons.I've gotten pretty good at guessing what sex they will be by looking at them.Out of 5 of my dragons,I have gotten one wrong.Now, with Lightning,I can't tell because it is only an overhead picture.I think Mikey will be a female and Kermit a male.When they are older,let me know if I was right or wrong.

I agree. I think Baby Mike will be female, Kermit will be male. I also think Lightning will be male. Here are some pics:




Lightning has some rather big spikes. Not much of a crest yet, but the spikes are there. And his neck is nice and orange. (Check out his eyes, I love them!) I sexed Oscar, Kai, and Dori when they were young and I was off on Oscar... haha but I didn't know how off I was until she became gravid. Up until the point I actually saw eggs, I still thought she was male. I still call her my little man and what not... I am in denial!
