Ok so Awol is shedding ( again- still who knows with him )and he has had this piece stuck on the side of his face. So I rubbed behind his eye to get him to close it that way I could rub the stuck skin. I pinched the dead flapped and lifted to see how much was loose and Awol was fine with that for a second then he just pulled his head at it came right off in my fingers with no struggle. He turns his head a bit and you can see he is staring at me and then he opens his mouth wide enough to shallow my thumb and keeps it open while staring at me. Gave me a great chance to look inside and see all those nasty little teeth they have, just like a saw blade in his mouth hehehe
What an attitude though always trying to get me to back down from him hahahaha he would never go for having another male dragon in the house thats for sure.

chaos has done the same thing sometimes shell do it and actually chase me for 10 ft lol im just glad im not a cricket or pinky mouse *shudders*

They have quite the buzzsaw blade in those beaks of their's don't they. I'm glad you got the chance to do a quick visual on the mouth. I try to make it a point to scope out Pookas mouth whenever I can get her to open it which isn't quite often, just to check for mouthrot or any abberant marking inside. Skittle on the other hand is super easy to check. The GF found that a quick little kiss on the top of his head makes him open his mouth and hold it open. Not sure whats up with that wether he is threatening her or wether it is uncomfortable for him he doesn't seem to squirm when she does it though. Anyhow sounds like you and AWOL are locked in a perpetual power struggle to be the alpha dragon, be careful  |

Sure why not my dog and I fight for alpha male of the pack all the time too---to much like a marmaduke that thing hehehe I tell him I am boss and he falls off the couch laughing  |

i no what you meen there teeth are scary my male cwd was p/o and his theoat was pufeed out and he slowly turned his head towards me is freaked me out! and wen he baskes he sumtimes opens it up  |
