Well, ther vet was off by a couple of days, but Drago FINALLY laid her one, little egg today IN HER POOL. I think this means it is not fertile (and I didn't expect it to be) but I have put it in the incubator anyway. I am just happy that Drago survived. She still didn't eat tonight, but I hope she will tomorrow.

hmmm.... maybe I missed a post somewhere saying you were only expecting one egg but I'm pretty sure 1 egg is VERY uncommon. I suspect she is holding at least 3+ more at the least. If thats the case I'm sure she will drop them within this day or tommorow, just keep her stress free and encourage a laying enviroment (dirt etc) One feels a bit 'off' to me.

Pooka: I panicked after Zelenka's death and took her for an ultrasound and the vet was only able to see 1 unshelled egg. But you are right, this morning I found a 2nd egg in the pool, so perhaps I'll find more tonight when I get home. Thanx!

:(Well, when I got home today I found a shriveled white egg in the pool AND a brown-colored, leather-like flattened thing that appears to have once been an egg shell. Can't think of what else it could possibly be but a "bad" egg. I hope it didn't burst inside her. I will be watching her carefully for the next few days.
