Hi just making sure i have all the info needed Heating: 75-80 in cool end - 90-95 in basking end
lighting: UVA/UVB bulb on about 9-10 hours in winter and for 12-13 hours for summer
feeding: hatchlings: twice a day with crix.. as much as they can eat in 15 minutes and vegetables every day adults: vegetable every other day and crix 3 times a week... as much as they can eat in 15 mins and a pinkie every month or two
a swimming area big enough for them to submerge their body.
hygiene/health: water area filtered, any excess crix removed when lights go off. clean cage and items every week. suplement food with calcium and herpitive

Sounds like you have it all down I personally would tweak the temps up a just a bit on the cool end makeing it 82-84 degrees. Also be sure to read and digest (if you have not yet) this site: www.agamainternational.com/ They are a good resource for aussie water dragon specific info.

I'm not sure yet, im lookin for a male and female, but there doesnt seem to be mnay eastern water dragons on the market. I'm going down to a pet store this sunday and hopefully they will some that are healthy

Good luck with your search. I know they are hard to find in my city as well. Someone suggested reptile shows to me as a surce for healthy CWD. I don't know about Australia but I'll pass the suggestion along to you for consideration.

Thanks guys, but in Australia it is illegal to import and export reptiles from other countries . There is a pet shop about 40-50mins away that was some juvenilles for about $159 australian. I know this is very expensive for a AWD, (here anyway) but they are very healthy reptiles so i dont mid spending the extra bit of dosh$$.

Dont worry, a few people have suggested them. I wouldnt have a clue about the laws relating to reptiles in the US or any other country
