Dozer, I just thought I would share my experiences in case they are of any help. I have a seven old Aussie (Walter) who I got at one month old. Are you trying to watch him eat ?. Aussies can be very shy eaters and you being there my be stopping him eating. Walter is very tame, will perch and be handled, but will NEVER eat if he can see me watching him. No idea why. Once he is eating well start handling him for every day and he should tame pretty quick. Check with Dragosmom, on this site, for handling tips. Good luck.

One other question...why is it that everytime he jumps out of the water onto a rock/banch etc. he does this head banging thing a couple times?
I thought this was a sign of dominance, but for a 4 week old dragon?
