I know i asked this before, but it really went nowhere.
So i thought i'd start again and explain more clearly what i was after.
I have been using roaches and crickets daily (together) for the past 6 months. I have decided that i would like to use roaches mainly as a live food source for my dragons. I have heard that they are pretty easy to breed if you give them the right conditions.
So, i was wondering if anyone breeds roaches themselves. If so, how do you do it etc. If not, here is what i think i need to do to successfully breed them.
Basically, have plastic bucket/bin/tub, put a vaseline like substance around the lip (i have the escape problem under control). Keep the heat up because the hotter it is the faster they breed etc. Have places for them to hide like toilet rolls and egg cartons. And always leave fresh food like carrots and gut load on offer... and spray the 'holding tub' once a day for moisture for them

Maybe this will add something to what you already know:http://www.midwestherpetoculture.com/id10.html
I keep looking at them, but I'm not sure I'll EVER be able to handle them. the word ROACH makes me shudder.
