Hello, I have one beautiful six month old Aussie called Walter. I am not new to lizards but I am new to Aussie's so this forum has been a Godsend. Lots of excellent advice and quite a community feel, you all should be very proud. I will try to post some pictures if i can work out how. Where is everyone from ?.

Hi, Philliphall! You have emailed about Walter in a different forum so we kind of know each other! LOL I own 3 Chinese WD: Avanyu, Tripod and Drago and they live in Evansville, IN USA. Welcome to Graceful Dragons! I think you're right-the people on this forum are fantastic and knowledgable. If you want to see my 3 we are online here: www.geocities.com/dianedfisher/Webcam may be a problem since you are so far ahead time wise. You may be faced with either darkness, or worse yet, Diane in her pajamas tending to the three before work! LOL Did Walter eventually calm down and become easier to handle? I found that it gets easier as they age-they're easier to catch when they are larger and they slow down marginally! But those darn nails are killer!

Hello Diane, You were right about the forum, it is excellent. Thanks for all your advice. Walter has really calmed down very quickly. He will sit and let you watch him in his viv and will sit calmly on my shoulder or arm for 5 or 10 minutes. We are getting on great so thanks a lot.

So glad to hear that you and Walter have become friends! They are good company. My grandchildren love grannies "wizards". Daremo's correct, I should have made an exception about AWOL. You see, AWOL trained Daremo NOT the other way around and when AWOL wants food he'll eat whatever is provided-attached to Daremo's arm or not! LOL Daremo should have a warning sign on his front door for small pets and young children!
