I have 2 bearded dragons that are doing great but my water dragon who is about 2 1/2 months old isn't doing to well. About a week a go he fell from about 6ft. in the air from what my wife told me. Now he is shedding hard and not eating but like every other day and about a wax worm or a cricket at that. I still bath him every two to three days and now it is very lazy to the point were all it does is sleep and hang out with it's eye's closed on it's branch most of the time. I'm thinking that I'm going to have to start force feeding him soon. He is about 7 inch's long and like I said going through a hard all over shed. It is pooping every day still. Humidity is around 80 and temp is around 81 to 83 during the day hour's. Please help!!!!

Hi, The fall of a height like that is usually no big deal for younger dragons unless they land wrong or on a hard surface. Remeber these guys are build to jump from tree to tree and from the top of a tree to the ground or water below, they have some resilience. The feeding issue may be due to several factors. Either he has lost appetite due to shedding, he hurt somthing internal in the fall or he has parasites would be my first guess's. Since he is acting letharic you should take immediate action and have your little one into a vet ASAP. If its internal injuries or parasites the vet can tell you in a few short minutes rather then wondering and letting the little guy waste away. The fact that he is still pooping daily is a huge plus mark though. I see your ambient temps are 81-83, those seem a bit low to me. Personally I shoot for a basking site of about 91 and an ambient temp of about 87-88 or so the grades down to the overall room temp of 75. Keep us updated.
