Hey all  I was asked by Zekey yesterday about the possibilty of a live chat room in the future. I just wanted to put out a thread to see what the general consensus was on this? It may take some technical work to arrange something like this so I want to be certain the interest is there and we have a large enough membre base to support somehting like this. So, please sound off and let us know what you think about htis suggestion. |

Although I think that this forum is off to an AWSOME start & the chatter is GREAT, I think it would be fun and benificial to have a Chat where if needed, immediate help is available. We could learn about eachother faster & about the critters we keep....

a live chatroom would be wonderful! We could interact with the other members easyier and faster instead of waiting around for a reply. Also if someone is in great need of fast help maybe someone in the chat could help. Its just a very nice way to get to know everyone n make friends with the ppl we are posting with and be more comfortable about things and around the other members.

I think it is a great idea. That way the members can get to know each other on a more personal online basis.

I'm new here, but I would welcome the opprotunity to chat with everybody here online. I think it's a GREAT idea. I've been known to be a 'chat-a-holic' sometimes spending hours upon hours in rooms...much to the dismay of my Husband! It is a great venue to toss ideas and thoughts around, and especially to get to know the ppl on a more personal level.

Ok I think I found some code that will work for a chat room. I would like to test it out first with 1 or 2 other people to make sure it works correctly so contact me if your interested in takeing a minute or two today or tommorow to test it with me. Thanks

I'm going to test out how long it will let someone stay logged into a chat today. So I will be in the chat all day I expect.
