My water dragon isn't moving at all and her eyes won't open even as I hold her, but she is still breathing. What is wrong?

I really think if you can you should get her to a vet soonest Maybe I'm just a worrier but people wait to long sometimes would rather go in for nothing than wait till it is to late. You may have seen this picture before but this is Cronus when I first got her and recently. The people that had her didn't care enough to get her to a vet they seemed to just go oh well she is ok. Anyway here is the link if you want to see www.geocities.com/valntyn13/page9.htmlCristaValentine Cronus and Perseus

As I said in my PM to you Zippy schedule an appointment with a vet as soon as possible. The costs are usually minimal $30 or so. None of us are qualified to make any accurate diagnosis of zippys condition and I would hate for you to have to wait and see what a bunch of forum members had to say about it before takeing zippy to someone qualified. Also, like I said, make sure your temps are correct. Pooka will lie down with her eyes closed if it is too cold for her for too long. Good luck and keep us posted

I PM'd Zippy for support and said much the same thing. I have never had a sick CWD-I just read alot about other peoples problems in an effort to keep the same thing from happening to mine! I did suggest warm pedialyte by dropper until she can get to the vet and upping her temps to 88F. Poor Zippy-I know how frantic she must be!

Pooka was sick shortly after I got her so I have had to go through much the same ordeal. She had parasites and a bacterial infection. The vet gave me some tips on husbandry best practices and some antibiotic eye drops and after 3 days of treating Pooka ands worrying she got better. So I know the anxiety, and there is nothing any of us can do to alleave that I'm sorry. The vet visit will help though because at least then you'll know whats wrong and how long it'll take to get corrected.

Thank you for the advice. But I'm very sad to say Zippy didn't make it through the night. I don't think there was any way we could have stopped it. I had her in a luke warm bath all night but it didn't help.

You did everything you could. RIP, Zippy. I hope you will get another water dragon when you feel better. They are great pets!

Yes I am getting a new water dragon as soon as I feel better. But now I know to arrange an appointment with a vet as soon as I notice she isn't eating as much.
