As I am new here I didnt really know where to put this but i decided here. If it is wrong you can move it to the appropriate thread. I love my baby but I was just curious what is the difference between the Austrillan and the Chinese water dragons? I have heard that the aussies are more hardy and less easily spoked? Also that they have similar living requirments. just curious

They are radically different in coloration. As far as living requirements they are rather similar. Aussie dragon are a bit lower with humidity and brumate. CWDs do not. They grow at about the same rates and are very similar in most other ways.

Yes, their color is very different. You also have to lower the tempature in the winter lower than CWD.

I have also read that they are more hardy and more disease resistant. www.agamainternational.com has a sheet that explains the differences.
