Hi all, As some of you (those of you on the WD mailing list) may know I had a slight scare yesterday. I got a call from the girlfriend that Pooka was hideing in the corner behind a piece of wood with vines acting "flinchy" and dark brown all over in color. Of course I posted to the mailing list and rushed home as soon as work got out while the girlfriend took some pictures.
Good news is by the time I got home Pooka was all green again and had eaten 8 medium crickets and had had a bath. (these are the thinsg she seems to enjoy the most) apparently she was feeling better. I let the list know she was alright and posted some photos of what pooka looked like when I got the call compared to what she was like when i got home 40 minutes later. Apparenlty the only explanation we can come up with is that something "spooked" her and she was scared hideing in the corner. There are no bumps, cuts, scrapes, bruises, nothing. There wa sno one home for about 4 hours untill the girlfriend came home to find her like this and we have no other animals aside from the frog in the fish tank across the room. Anyone have any other ideas as to what happend or have there own "water dragon was spooked" story? Here are the pics of her from last night, the first one is from about 4:30pm and the other is from shortly after 5:00pm (after a bath some food and some free roam time) Keep in mind both shots are taken on the same bedspread to show color differences in Pooka.
