I have a female CWD and i got her when she was just under a yr old in 2000. I have always had problems with her getting sick and her not eating and not gaining weight. For a long time she would only eat once a week like only 2 worms, she stopped eating crickets. Pooka knows alot about whats been happening. ANYWAYS Petri has always been skinny, but lately for the past couple months she has been doing better and eating 5 night crawlers every day or every other day. I was wondering if there is anything else i can do to try n fatten her up or if anyone knows what night crawlers nutritional values are? Its just so hard to get her to eat different foods and i just worry about her. She is skinny and she needs to gain weight, but she is full of energy and isn't lazy n loves to swim in her pool and run around and play with her room mate Nemo the baby Iggy i rescued. It seems like since her and Nemo have been together is when she actually started to eat, so I'm assuming she was lonely, but i still wish she could gain weight. If anyone can help thanks in advance!

WAX worms are very high in fat and should be used with care because dragons can get addicted to them. Silkworms are high in everything and very good for dragons as are butterworms Pinkies and fuzzies can help bulk her up too

Jade has been getting pinkies and now fuzzies for a couple months now and she's overweight (I'm weening her back to crickets for a while) they are good nutritionally too so I'd think they are good to bulk up a CWD assuming they will take them (Jade eats fuzzies with gusto :-) )

Well i know i cant do pinkies or fuzzies, because the pinkies petri for some reason stoped eating anything that wont move, and plus she is kinda small for her age she is between 5-6 and she is small and so i dont think she could handle them anyways, but im going to try some wax worms for sure as well as the silkworms and butter worms, thank you both for your help.

Hiya Emi, I know we talked about this in IM but I am a huge advocate of super worms as a good det item for bulking up dragons. Skittle has put on alot of weight and thickenss this past week on supplemented super worms and the odd handful of crickets. About the pinkies, I know your not a big fan of feeding them but skittle who is alot smaller then petri put one away this week and all went well (aside from it was a messy experience) I have no practical opinion on it yet though, just thought I would share.
