Some of you may know that I recently got a new CWD as a rescue. We've had him almost a month now and he's been getting better. He had infections in both eyes and internal parasites. I took him to the vet right after we got him and have been treating him myself since. I thought that the eye infections were under control but today I took him out to feed him and noticed a VERY large patch of dried blood running down his cheek and under his chin. I have no idea what could have caused this but the eye itself seems fine. I cleaned him up with Betadine and put him back home after spraying the tank for humidity (it was a bit low). If anyone here has any ideas what may be wrong, please enlighten me, I want this guy to be OK

Replied on reptile forums but here is my reply again: "Well if the eye looks good I would continue the regiment of treating it as prescribed. Also you may wanna check inside his mouth for any kind of wound or sore. If I had to guess going off the info you have shared I would say it may have been an abcess of sorts inside the eye lid that burst. Observe behavior and keep treating him for his illness's let us know if anything changes"

If the blood came from the eye, he may have hit it on something, on another site some one posted about there dragon jumping into a branch and hitting his eye causing it to bleed, but in the end it was fine.
