Well Cronus is doing well has mellowed out a bit on the temper thing she had going with Perseus. Perseus is holding her own eatting good tho not gaining much in weight not losing either. Circe well what can I say Baslisk are not as Slave friendly as Dragons She has been shedding so must be growning. She won't eat if anyone is where they can see her strange critter. Now on to the new critters. I got 2 three toed box tortises Zeus and Hera (had to stick to the greek mythology namimg there) We have a teen boy that does yardwork I call him my pool boy anyway Poolboy brought me a I think Tree frog to add to my collection. Here is a picture of the 3 of them Zeus is the redheaded one and Hera is the brown headed one. and Nimrod is the shiny hoppy one lol. So far Cronus has just sat up on her shelf and watched the new guys. Circe sticks to the top of her branch like always but Perseus has been down climbing around with Zeus and Hera. They seem to be doing fine. Nimrod seems a bit confused by it all but thats a frog for you

Congrats on the new arrivals WDM, they look great. From the sounds of your post you have them in the big enclosure with Cronus & Perseus? Have you had their stool checked for parasites? Its alot easier to treat one or two animals before you introduce them to the enviroment then it is to introduce them and have to treat ALL the animals. Anyhow, thanks for stopping in and sharing they are gorgeous.

I haven't had them to the vet yet, the shop I get them from is very reliable. They are all going in here in a month or so for yearly checkups and what not now that I have found a reptile vet in the area. Zeus is 773H on wheels already figured a way around my blockade and jumped in the girls's pond LOL had to fix that one quick

Hey Crista. Glad to see the "herd" is doing fine. Nice additions. At least you can catch them! I gave up trying to house Tripod and Drago together. Drago has her own cage now and is gaining weight and appears happier. DM

WooHoo! 40 grams is a good chunk of weight, I'm glad she is back on a regular food schedule again. I am assuming by your statment you just let them work out the social chnages themselves then? No need to seperate them? I am curious about the details for those who will follow us one day and may see some more social shuffleing. Thanks for the update Crista

I had no way to separate my girls the cage is just built wrong to divid and I don't have a backup cage (after all this time I didn't think there should be any getting along problems it has been near a year now) Anyway as you know with the weight Perseus lost (she is finally back to the before weight) I was going to find her a new home. Which is difficult for many reasons, not just cause she is one of my babies but also you have to find someone you trust enough to give her up to ( that would have been DaremoAlpha if he wasn't in another country) Seeing as that wasn't possible I let them work it out with a lot of watching and shooing Cronus off when she was being hateful. Cronus never actually tryed to keep Perseus from eatting I think it was just the stress that threw her off. With the new critters in the cage I notice there is even less bickering between Cronus and Perseus. The both seem to like to watch Zeus and Hera wander around ( I think they are trying to figure out why some of the rocks walk around) It's a good thing Zeus is a determined guy the girls are not beyond snatching a worm right out of his mouth ( He is not beyond playing tough of war with them ) Anywho things are going well in the enclosure thank goodness.

Everything is going well in Dragonland (LOL I like that will have to make a sign for the enclousre) Everyone is eatting and all that getting along well finally. Zeus and Hera seem to be interested in having a family. Not something I really want to deal with all the worry about egg binding and what not. I don't think there is much chance on eggs surviving to the hatching stage I don't have a clue on incubation and doubt that the cage is the right enviroment for hatching.

I figure I'll never even KNOW if Tripod lays eggs in my viv. Maybe one day I'll come home and have a baby hanging on a limb. THAT would be kewl! Glad your group are co-habitating nicely. I got a little, tiny panther chameleon for my 53rd birthday (a few weeks early) and I am busy trying to get him to settle in and eat. DM
