Has anything in his environment chnaged recently? If so perhaps you can try switching it back and seeing if that helps. Double check all enviromental stats first off, heat/humidity/ and visibllity to anything that might frighten him. If all those check out it is likly medical and a vet appointment is called for. Keep us posted.

HELP!!

The Humidity in my tank is about 65-70 seeing that I have a humidity "probelm" but I try to keep it at 80%...My temp is 85 but for awhile it was in the upper 90's becuase the wattage we got was too high.....We are thinking that Rex might of got something in his eye because we switched from wood bedding to the reptile "dirt" bedding...when we looked at his eye it seemed dirty...we did our best to wipe the dirt out with a soft wet tissue and we went to the petstore I work at and picked up some reptile eye wash...We're happy to see that the swelling went down and he has his eye open more..but we're still worried that it may be a bad infecdtion that may need vet. assistance. Seeing that tomarrow is Sunday and not many vets are open we're going to see how he is on Monday and if he's worse/same we're going to take him in. He's a little pain in the butt but we love him!!! We've only had him for a week and he's burnin a holw in our pocket!!! We've had trouble with humidity, his occational nose dives, tail whipping, and attempts to get loose but you gotta love it!!!! I'll keep you all posted!
