Well for two days this passed week my grandfather and I have been working on a nice vivarium. We made it out of 5/8" plywood, spruce, and pine. The main box is made out of plywood and the spuce and pine are mostly for support and out decor. I designed the box about 5' high and 4' wide. The actual usable space inside is roughly 4' wide 4' high and 2' deep. It's definately a lot bigger than I had pictured it and much more expensive than I had thought it would be. Today I went out and purches a 3' tall ficus (looks really good! , lenolium, a 3' 75 watt florescent light and fixture (walmart rocks lol), and some stuff to build my waterfall/mountain background out of. Im really really stoked about this. Im going to make a built in pool for her with a waterfall that flows directly into it and a "cliff/mountain" type decoration for the back which will have 2 little "shelves" for basking and a small hide. I found a site www.csd.net/~cgadd/aqua/46g_construct.htm that tells you how to make the rocky looking background and was wondering if anyone had any input on it. Of course im going to modify this guy's idea so itll support my dragon's weight on the ledges, but Im mostly worried about whether or not Yogo will be able to claw through 3 layers of sand and epoxy when she is a juvi. Ill be sure to post some pics as soon as we get the thing finish and get the new digital camera.

Very cool punkshoo, I'm doing a similar project right now out of melamine and at 6 foot by 4 foot by 3 foot it is much larger then I pictured it in my head as well. I don;t have any feedback on the faux rock though, sorry.
