my cwd had a nice fall from about four feet onto tile. he loves hanging on to the screen on my window he'll sit there all day. well i heard a loud thump and went in there and noticed him on the floor he wasnt acting hurt he just sat there so i picked him up and he rolled off my hand and landed upside down and he couldnt roll over he just laid on his back. so immediatly picked him up and set him down and he started trying to walk but could only move his front legs. his back legs are paralyzed. I put him in to a ten gallon tank just so he has somewhere safe to lay and he hasnt moved. its been about an hour. and hes jut sitting there. I think a visit to the vet is necassary. any suggestions? broken limbs you think or just paralyzed temporarly from the impact? im not sure.

Is he stiff? Mine did the same thing just before she passed. She was walking but it was like her front legs were paralyzed. I did what you did and left her be for a bit to see if she was just playing. She didnt move but she blink occassionally and her tail twitched when I rubbed her belly. I sure hope she wasnt still alive when I buried her! O.O

Oh no H20Dragons is he ok today? I sure hope so. I have had similar incidents with both of min that have lasted for less then an hour or so, it would appear falls can shock and stun them. However, I have heard of several dying from trauma caused by falls long and short so I'm never comfortable with allowing mine to be high up or held by people they are unfamiliar with. Regardless of stunning or injury I do think a vet visit is in order to check the back. Skittle had back injuries at one point and still has tenderness now and again. Let us know if everything is ok.

How is your water dragon doing? I sure hope he's ok. My wd jumped off of my shoulder and vertebrae in his tail. Now his tail is a little u-shaped at the top. Keep us posted
