Mine would always run away from me, too.

i have been handling both of them over the last couple of days and they seem to have gotten the slightest bit better. 1 of them wont run as soon as i come into the room. The other will still hide. I have given them 2 hides and the good thing is, they seem to know where the are and use them . They have eaten most of thier crickets so now i will start giving them a lot more, i only gave them about 30 each over the last week and it seems as though they have eaten their veggies. At 8 months old they should be fed only about once a day right?.. with crickets

I would advocate 2 feedings of 6+ insects a day each if they will take them. They are still in there growing stages for about 8-10 more months so they will need all the food they will take.

If you put some cricket gel and/or a small lid of cricket food in with the crix you can just leave them. They are pretty good at eating up any trash, live plant leaves and they will eat other dead crickets. They may bite your WD and that is why most people remove them. When my CWD, Drago, was younger I think sometimes the crickets actually ate off his shedding skin AND he didn't mind at all! Just don't leave too many in there. I still feed my almost grown dragons twice daily plus I leave a dusted bowl of mealies in the viv all of the time.

OK, the man who sells me all my supplies, has a couple of juvies also, and he also has a powdered dish full of woodies. I'll give it a try

I tried the powdered dish thing today, and i walked out of the room to cut up some food for them and came back, and one of them had one of the woodies hanging out there mouth ;D. They had only averaged over the last two weeks... about 3 crickets a day . Now they are eating all thier veggies and they insects ;D.....

Good job! One of mine will eat a few crix from my hand every so often, but prefers to hunt down her food. Of course, she's the skinniest of the 3!

Cronus and Perseus have there enclosure in the living room and I am their entertainment apparently, if they can't see me for any length of time they start to bang on the sides of the cage. I do go inside it and just hang out with them everyday and hand feed them tho I always have dishes with buggies in there for them

Ok, you must have a pretty big enclosure. i think i saw it in another thread. Yeah i'm not sure if mine look skinny or not, but i know that i'd like them a bit bigger. Also seeing as they eat all thier veggies, would it be alright just to powder every dish of veggies instead of every second crix/insect. That way they would be getting enough calcium
