As most of the people who regulary visit this forum would know i have had my water dragons for about 2 months now...
I am still having problems with calming them down I was told several different opinons and was more or less told to handle them for about 5-10mins a day.. I have been doing this to some extent.
To be honest I have only been handling them for about 4-6 minutes about 2 days in 3.... and they havent really calmed down at all
Any more suggestions?
Should i let them run around it a little room where they cant escape for 10minutes or so?

Well, I have the same problem with Schizo so can't give you any advice validly. >_> However, the room thing sounds good.

I recommend the bathroom. Run hot water in the tub or shower to warm the room and then put a little 77-80F water in the tub. Let him swim and if he doesn't like it then let him run around the bathroom after you've "dragon" proofed it-no hidey holes and a towel along the door if there's a gap. Bring some food also for a treat. Probably won't eat it, but he may. Catch and release him ocassionally so that he knows when you grab him you are not going to automatically return him to the cage. Give him something to climb on (hang a towel) Stroke him under his chin and along his nuchal crest lightly. May take a couple of weeks, but he should gradually recognize that you are friend not foe! Also, do not stand over him. Always make yourself no higher than his eye level. They like to be higher than potential predators and right now YOU fall into that category!

Ok thanks dragosmom. I did last night in the toilet, but it was a bit too squishy. So i think the bathroom will suit me better too .
