Hi again,
What fruits/veges do they generally prefer? Also, are the veges raw? I've read bananas are a no no. Thanks.

Sadly I'm limited in what I can get access to veggie-wise in this state so the only ones I give mine are ground up carrots, but fruit-wise he/she accepts smooshed mango, chopped up/smooshed apple, smooshed up strawberry, and... Actually, I'll bet Schizo would eat anything I put in his food dish... Anyway, two things Spike didn't list would be mango (mine gets mango baby food) and apple.

Just watch the oxalic acid (oxalate) levels of whatever fruit sna d veggies you choose. The lower the better. Avoid the one's in the "high" range. Oxalic acid binds the free calcium in the system before it can be absorbed and can negate all of the dusting and calcium supplements that you provide. This site lists various foods and the oxalate levels: www.branwen.com/rowan/oxalate.htm
