I need to get a link or an address for an Australian WD care sheet or a forum that talked about baby water dragons not eating and someone feeding them a mixture of I think turkey flavored baby food and mixed it with baby bird food. Does this sound familiar to any one of you? I need to find something to feed my water dragons because neither one of them are eating like they should be. They have been in their new terrarium for about a week and they arent eating well at all. I know you guys hear this same thing over and over, about WD's not eating. I wanted to see if giving the baby food mixture would help the problem and not wait until it is too late like I did with my last dragon.

i cant help you out with the link unfortunately, but with your concerns about them not eating.
You said that they just moved into a new terrarium. It isnt unusual for them not to eat so well, or anything at all for a few days when they a moved into new surroundings. But, after about a week thier maybe something wrong
What 'greens' or vegies do you feed them ATM?

I give them romaine or kale or similar lettace also grated carrots on top of that. They dont eat the veggies at all. I think I am going to force feed them some baby food mixture I found on the internet. Hopefully it will work OK. I am getting very concerned.

I have fed my Chinese water dragon chicken baby food thinned with gatorade or pedialite. For those reptiles who like veggies it is recommended to mix in some squash or mango baby food also. Remember that reptiles have a very small stomach so don't try to feed them more than a mil or so. You should also put liquid or powdered calcium in the mix every other feed.

Try some bright coloured foods... such as squah, pumpkin, strawberries. I have been told that bright colours can attract them, or make the food look more..... well you know what i mean. I'm not sure if it works, but i've been told before and my dragons seem to eat bright coloured stuff just as well as dark greens.
Try and mix it in with a bit of lean chicken or turkey. Some people may argue this but even some dog or cat food will be ok if it is only about 5-10% of thier diet

Indeed, high grade chicken catfood and mealworm's in that cacoon-ee form where what first got Schizo to start eating out of a bowl, and I've never seen him turn down the cat food, so that may be a good thing just to get them eating at first.

I will try the cat food mixed with meal worms. Last night I gave the shyer dragon (Scooby) the baby food, pedialyte & reptical mixture with a syringe. He did not like it much so I had to force his mouth open but he did eat it. I gave the more active dragon (Scrappy) the same mixture and he ate quite well without having to force his mouth open. I also spoon fed him some cat food, he made quite a face when he ate it. I dont know if he liked it or not. I'm not as worried about Scrappy because he is very active and runs around and basks alot. Scooby is the one that Iam mostly worried about. He just hides in the plants or stays in the pool in the terrarium and does not eat well on his own. He doesnt appear to be thin or dehydrated just scared and not at all active. Thanks a lot for your ideas on this, I wil try anything that you think they might like to eat.
