I currently have 2 less than a year male AWD's. I am trying to sell one of them. I have the possiblity to get a female that is 3years old. My question is would the older dragon harm the younger one and would the age difference cause them not to mate or would they mate when the male became mature enough. I dont want to pass up this chance at a female since I am having such a hard time finding a female that is the same age as the male I currently have. Let me what you guys think, it will help make up my mind.

Sorry for the delayed response. What country are you from? Have you tried agamainternational?
As for the two males, i haven't seen any fight first hand but i have seen some that did fight (with scratches etc.) There is a chance that the males may fight, more if theres a female around. But then again they might get along, i can't really say as i never seen it happen but i have only heard it happen once and been told it CAN happen about 50times.
As for the older female. If they are roughly the same size, there shouldnt be any real dominance, but seeing as the female is about 3 years, i'd guess she is about 30+inches and with your male not even being a year old, i'd guess he is about 10-15inches, which is almost 2-3 times smaller. If you want you could keep the younger one in a rubbermaid container for another six months or even the larger one, as the larger they are the more the tolerate heat, and therefore you will only need some 'cheap' heating And if it is a bit cooler for her, you might slowly reduce the lighting over the 6 or even 9 months, which could act as a cooling period for the female, while you concentrate on your male. If i were you and i was having a lot of trouble finding a female. I would get the female and house it 'cheaply' and concentrate on the male, get the heat and food right up to him and hopefully he will get close within that 6-9 months
