My friends salamanders died over a fight for area he thinks. I think it was two males (not a male and a female witch he thinks there were) fighting. Who do you think is right?  |

I'm not sure about salamanders but I have heard that male and female water dragons will sometimes fight over the "Alpha" position. Although Water Dragon fights seldom end with death as a result (immediate result anyhow) it usally ends up with a winner and a very despressed loser who may or may not languish then die eventually.
Keep in mind that some animals just do not get along male and male, male and female, or female and female.
