Today i kinda finished my CWD Petri's new tank. I built it in my closet. Its almost 6 feet long, almost 6 feet tall and about 3 feet deep. Its nothing special yet. I put 2 packages of ECO EARTH for my substrate and a bag of green BONE AID Calci-sand mixed in. I plan on buying another bad of the Calci-sand tho. I have a few rocks and a light hanging 2 feet over the rocks for Petri to bask in. Friday is when my 4 foot light and fixture i ordered comes in. I still need to build the top of the tank. But the tank is basicly a wooden floor cut out to fit my closet about 16in above the floor of the closet. The floor of the tank is re-enforced with other wood blocks screwed into the wall. Over the wooden floor i cut to fit white waterproof, stain proof, and oder proof paneling. The same kind of paneling you would use in your shower. I also cut and fit the paneling to fit on the walls. The door is as simple as a window. In fact, it IS a window. A storm window that my dad and I bought at the store that fit PERFECT into my closet. We just held it up and screwed it in. Now i can lift the bottom window up, or the top to clean easy. Like i said not much to it yet but its a work in progress. I will have pictures soon. I still need to buy alot of stuff to decorate and put shelves in and ramps and stuff for her to climb on. I also have to put my ceramic heat emitter in. Also friday i might be buying an adult Male CWD as a mate for Petri. I want to breed them. I cant wait to have a bunch of lil baby Petri's running around. I know breeding takes a while tho
