That is an exceptionally nice set-up! Is the UVB bulb on the left side the only UVB source that you have? If it is, my only critique is that since UVB is only effective for up to 12 inches with even a Reptisun 5.0 bulb there are large areas in your viv that are without adequate UVB. Positioning your UVB and basking spot adjacent to one another encourages your dragon/dragons to bask near the UVB. If your dragon already basks close to the UVB source you can tell me to MYOB! LOL Have a nice Thanksgiving!

You are both right about the uvb light not being enough two of my wds bask near it but one doesn't so I am going to rectify it as on wednesday my wds are going into the pet shop for two days and my hubby is going to remodel the viv and we are going to add another uvb light and do other changes to make it better for them but I will miss them like crazy but it will be worth it

The greatest majority of the UVB studies consistently rate the Reptisun bulbs at the top. The 5.0 is a great choice. Just keep in mind that your UVB output is greatly enhanced if you can mount the bulb inside the reptarium. It won't get hot enough to harm your water dragons and the UVB output is more effective at 3-9 inches. Reptisun 5.0 UVB bulbs also last for a year when other bulbs have stopped emitting UVB at 6-9 months.

dracco:
I know what you mean about missing them, but that was a great idea. I have to put my three in the bathroom (in the tub) when I work on my viv. That means I am limited to about an hour or so of work at the most during the winter. During the summer I don;t feel so bad letting them run around in my room and climb on the screen door! Your viv is sooo.. nice. Are your dragons old enough to mate? If so, please post on the breeding forum for us. Valid information from actual breeders is very helpful to those of us who would like to breed them eventually.
