I'm just curious if anybody else here has used strangish aquarium decorations for their water dragons successfully. I do try to keep all of my reptiles' aquarioums looking as natural as I can, but recently put in a paper towel tube with my year old brown water dragon named Schizo, and he seems to really enjoy it.
Oh yeah, and if you have, what was it that you put in there?

I havn't really... I thought really hard about getting some roman colums for Pookas cage but I am way to big of a worry wart, I thought maybe she would hurt her belly on them. The only non natural lize decor I have currently is a rock arc that is made out of flat stones.

I have a wooden bird cage ladder in my wd's viv, she seems to enjoy climbing it and it's funny to watch her. She also has a hammock made by zoomed that suction cups to her walls- it's made for herps but looks a little strange. Anyhow, she spends a lot of her time in it and jumping on and off it into her water.

There is a viv picture on one of the other forums that has a clay flower pot on it's side as a "hide". Cute idea and if you soak the pot for 24 hrs before you put it in the viv it should help with the humidity.

I don't think I have unless you consider plastic plants and vines strange.

I have a frog statue that spits water, my girls love sitting on its head and it keeps the fountain full. Seeing as they figure that if you sit on top of the fountain and drape your tail over the side you can empty it
