Sorry it has taken me so long to post this. This is the viv that Avanyu, Drago and Tripod inhabit. I have tried to make it as close to life-like as possible (and still make it easy to clean and take care of). It is a custom built (my design) and assembled and crafted by my 75 year old father in his woodworking shop. I cannot take credit for ANY of the construction. He followed my drawings and did all of the work himself. Hope you like!

We have used the same segmented, acrylic paneling as we used for the sides and rear. We put in 2 wood pieces evenly spaced across the top to support the acrylic. Dad cut out circular holes evenly spaced across the top and cut the square section out for my lightbar down the right side of the viv. We then tacked 1/4 inch hardware cloth (chicken wire) across the top and across the lightbar opening. My heat and light source domes just rest on the wire. the light bar is affixed with acrylic brackets and metal guides (my dad's design).
