I am planning on building a new enclosure for Sobe over Christmas. It is going to be 6 ft long, 2 ft wide (would be wider, but is limited due to length of my doorframe), and 4.5 ft tall. The bottom, sides, and back will be made of plywood, the front will be sliding glass doors, and the top will be a screen mesh. I have heard many different ways of water proofing the wood. Which way would be best? And how long would it take to air out before I can use the enclosure?

Water based polyurathane works well as a sealant. Thats what we used. Does take a month to air out. We had the size problem so we did all the pieces out side and actually built it in the room it stays in LOL we can never move now:) Cronus and Perseus's cage is 6ftx4ftx4ft height length width.

Our water dragons enclosure is 6'4L 3'2W 3'2L. I say the higher the better for CWD's.

I agree with the height. Mine is 6' tall X 4' wide X 2' ( I also thought 2 feet deep was about all I could accomodate in the hallway where the viv is positiioned) Since they love to climb, the height is important!

I went with 6x4x4 with the length being the longest. I considered higher but Cronus is and never will be up to a lot of climbing. I doubt that she would heal from a jump or fall from very high.
