I’m building a cage this summer and i’m researching for the cheapest materials and best designs. So if you have blueprints or pictures of your water dragon setup (mine is going to be around 6ft tall to maybe 4 ft by 2-3 ft around) so the bigger your setup the better. any ideas, comments, materials, and of course pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I have none. Personally I am looking at old amoire's or wardrobes to be converted but I may go with a scratch built wood design. I don't have any details to show though.

Here is my cage. It is 5'x2'x4' (LxWxH), I used plywood that is 3/4th inch thick and glass that is 1/8 inch thick. The glass was by far the most expensive part because I got the kind they use in windshields so that it wont break or crack easily and is flexible enough to use for sliding glass doors. On the bottom I used linoleum (sp?) tile (the sticky kind) to waterproof it even more. I would not advise the sliding glass doors because I had a lot of issues with it and getting it set up and to work right. If you have any questions just ask. What ideas for your cage do you have right now?

I made one for my bearded dragon about 5 month's ago and used an old dresser that we were going to get rid of and spent around 70 dollars for everthing and it's 4 1/2long x 3 tall x 3 deep. and he loves the d**n thing when he's not running around the house.
