This is my big cuddle bug, Mathius. Spoiled rotten but he's such a sweety I can't help it. The vet is guessing he's about 2 years old and from the looks of him when I got him he had a rough start in life. His tail is beat up a bit and he wasn't in the best of health when I got him. But, he's doing great now, much more active and has gained the weight he needed to. He is 1 foot from snout to tail tip.

I'd never seen one either, not in person, until I seen him at the pet store. I was a little unsure of him at first, he looked kinda mean in a way. And that tail looked down right scary too. But I kept going in a looking at him, watching him, did some reading on them and when I finally held him...well, it was love and I had to bring him home. He is the gentlest, sweetest cuddle bug I have. I would really love to get some more, someday. When I have the room to keep them. I'm looking into the Ornates and the Red Niger...they are just gorgeous!
