Contest: GD Spokesdragon

Hi all,
There is some work going on to create an new banner for graceful dragons. This banner will be used on other sites as a visual reference to our community here. We are looking for a a 'spokes dragon' to be used as part of this banner so that the banner is instantly recognizeable as pointing to a water dragon site. If you are interested please make sure to supply us with as many of these shots as possible and we will review them and use the ones that strike us as 'the one'. Shots we are looking for are 1/4 body shots which would also be head shots, full body shots (the whole dragon) and full body or 1/4 body shots shot from a higher angle then level.

If you have any of these shots and would be interested in haveing your dragon on the banner please send these shots via email to [e-mail] please include your forum username and the name of the dragon.

Important note on this: As we are the only primarily water dragon community on the web I am asking that you only submit water dragon pictures for this contest. Like I said we want this banner to be immediatly recognizeable as a water dragon banner.

Thanks to all those interested in particapateing. I will be posting some of our ideas and concept files in the near future.

Nice job on ALL of the AWOL banners! Since both you and Pooka know that I am computer-challenged I just want to tell you that I enjoy your work and I AM reading the posts BUT....don't expect a banner from Avanyu, Tripod or Drago. They're sitting in the viv grinning at each other and saying...."well, thanks mom, we missed out on THIS opportunity! Could you like bump up your computer skills a few notches?" LOL

Actually if you want to take some pictures like I outline in my first post on this thread we can try and use one of them to create the banner. DaremoAlpha, Phoenix79, and myself are collaborateing to make a new banner. I have about 7 or 8 others that were made by Phoenix79 and Elizabeth that still need to be posted for all to see.

So, in short, send us some pictures of your dragons and we can use them in the banners. I think Avanyu would work great for a banner because like AWOL, Avanyus picture screams water dragon site.

Ok here are some of the entires I have saved from Elizabeth and Phoenix79's work in the past. These banners sport pictures of My Pooka, Phoniex 79's Jade, and WDM's Cronus & Perseus. I belive there is also a beardie in there also but I have no idea whos it is, I think its one of our members though, if its yours let me know and I can credit you or take it down if you would prefer. And here they are....

OMG they are all great! Wonderful looking dragons. You guys/gals are going to have a very tough time picking just one. Keep up the awesome work! I will be getting some pics of my babies on here soon, within a week or so.

I don't know how you are ever going to make a decision because they are ALL so KEWL! Every water dragon has it's own unique quality and the colors you guys have used are all so great (course I'm pretty partial to using green and teal with water dragons). You guys are GREAT!
