It best to buy crickets from pet shops. You will never where the crix has been if find one ine your backyard. Look at the other threads in this section to find out about the fish question

I know people who feed fish to great avail but I certianly would not use them as a staple food item in there diet. 1 every once in a while is probably good for them though. Wild caught crix (or any insect for that mater) is always a gamble. You never know what a wild insect has ingested or tracked with them. All it would take is one to wander through a chemical pesticide trail and you could be putting the animal at risk. Hope that helps.

If you feed your beardie fish it might not be natural for it because they live in the desert.

If you feed your beardie fish it might not be natural for it because they live in the desert. this is pretty true, but beardies are one of the most adaptable animals/reptiles in the world. I'm sure they will eat almost anything that moves
