As you know Christmas is coming up and I am wondering if I should get another bearded dragon I have a male that is about 14 months old should I get another one or will it get into a fight or something, and if i do get another one should it be a male or female.

It wont matter if the size difference isnt too big. Your dragon now should almost be fully grown in at least 2-3 more months, im sure you shouldnt have too much trouble housing a fully grown female with your one by christmas. Be careful though, i'm not an expert

How big is the cage?
Two male will most likely fight in the future for territorial reasons. If you get a female try to get a full grown one that is about 18 months old just incase the male wants to breed.
Bearded dragons usually only come to gather in the wild to breed so they do not need a companion.
