do they have to have it or if they dont will they have problems just trying to find out for im thinking of maybe getting one this year or next

Yes, they really should have plant matter. Babies eat more meat then greens when young, but should still have them available at all times, but its not much. Then as they get older they will eat more greens then meat(or atleast should be fed more greens then meat, sometimes they like meat more but they should resist it). Providing the meat is going to be more expensive then the greens, but is a necessity! Some people feeding pellets as well, but they still feed greens, pellets arent a substitution for greens, just an addition. I hope I didnt blab to much! lol... Steven
