I start writing my own care sheet based on things i have been told and a little bit from experience. Whenever i am bored, i will usually write a little bit every now and then. I have been writing it for about 2 months and now i have finished and i have inserted it into a website i am slowly, trying to make. www.geocities.com/aussie_herps/aussie_herps.htmlIf you go on that link, you will see a link to the care sheet. If you have time, read through it and see if you can find anything you think to be wrong hard to understand something forgotten And any other suggestions for both my caresheet and web site are more than welcome

Hey, you did a great job! Couple things I saw: -You said beardies are simple and easy to care for(for a 7 year old), thats fine even though I think a seven yr old would need help, but maybe you could add that they arent the most inexpensive thing to keep, they do cost(kind of thing, lol). -If you didn't know, I dont believe in sand for a substrate. It cause impaction, its dusty, and dirty(even if cleaned!). But its your care sheet! So maybe you could just add paper towels and shelf liner. -I would go more into debt about the calcium, that is very important! Like what calciums to use and how much to use for babies and how much to use for adults. Too little or too much caclium can cause problems! -Under the heading 'basking spot', I would say how hot it should be(100-115*F). -Also, I dont believe in feeding mealies, pinkies, or waxies(as a staple, but sometimes as a treat). But the mealies and pinkies are just bad and are NOT healthy for a dragon(impaction problems and high in fat), but again, its your care sheet -And a good site to see what greens to feed is www.beautifuldragons.comGood luck! Great site!

Sorry I took so long to reply, I think your care sheet was great and explained most of the steps to keeping a bearded dragon. One thing I did not see That I recommend you put in is that bearded dragons are sexually mature at 6 months and if you house a pair together There is a chance of them breeding at two young of an age. Also I would add some of the problems of breeding them at two young of an age such as egg binding or stunted growth.
