First time breeding

This is Derek I have changed my Name to ClementeDragons (The name of my website)

I have decided to breed my adult 19-inch blood male with my 17-inch sunburst female. I should have Eggs in about 3-6 weeks. These pictures are pretty graphic but I know a lot of people are curious how they do it. It starts out with the male turning his beard black and he starts bobbing his head. Then he will bite onto the females little flap behind her neck to get a grip. Then he will drag her around and kick her until she raises her tail.

The male may not have the best colors but he carries one of the best red genes out there so they should produce some very nice Oranges,Yellows, and Reds. This is an example of a blood female from the some breeder(I am going to breed her next summer)


I will try to get pictures of her laying her eggs but it will be difficult

I can feel the eggs so she is gravid for sure She is digging and eating like crazy at this rate she might lay them next week

YAY Iv got 20 eggs in the incubator I will post some pictures up soon

Its hard to belive that all these came out of her
She layed 20 eggs but i think about 6 of them are infertal (This is very common when it is the females first time)
