we have a new addition to our house. i dont have pictures presently but i should later. he is 6 inches. and seems to be pretty healthy he has already been to the vet. everything checked fine. he doesnt seem to like me very much right now, been bit 2 times.. but i am sure that will get better. presently his tank is a 45 gallon wide. and his basking temp is about 111-114 and the cool side is about 77-79. at night we have had a weaker infrared bulb. but after some reasearch i am thinking i might not need this. the temps in the house dont go below 70 at night. due the the rest of the reptiles in the house. so i am thinking i dont need it any warmer? i was going to check tonight and see what the night bulb is taking the temps to.. but i think it was 80 when i was first monitoring. i dont remember...

The basking temp can be anywhere from 105-110 but it shouldn't go higher then that. Congrats on your new dragon!! Here is my caresheet if you'd like to look over it =) www.sterlingdragons.com/caresheet.htm
