Okay now, don't get me wrong here. After raising various types of anoles from the age of 5, some green water dragons, a brown water dragon, a sudan plated lizard, a green basilisk, and two mountain horned dragons, I'm not really new to the world of herpeteculture (I may have spelled that wrong though...).
Anyway, I AM however new to raising geckos. Recently I bought a nice sized one that seems to be female based on the tiny pores, the fact the pores don't secrete anything waxy, and the fact it's yet to make any noise besides a kind of bark and a kind of growl. Anyway, at first she was incredibly aggressive but within 2 days she became very handleable for some reason, it's now been about 6 days since I got her and yesterday I tried feeding her. I check back today and she hasn't eaten a single cricket or superwarm.
Sorry if I used horrid grammar in saying all this, but does anybody here know what I might be doing wrong or what might be causing this?

Oh yeah! And this might help: She's currently in a 15 gallon aquarium with repticarpet substrate, some vines, a small habba hut, and a small-medium water dish. As soon as the 65 gallon reptarium comes in from lllreptile.com I'm moving my Sudan plated lizard into that and giving her the 29 gallon.
Average temperature: About 73 to 80 degrees at night, 76 to 80 in the day.
Average humidity: I'm not really sure with the percentage, but I always have a humidifyer going and mist the tanks about twice a day (except for Stumpy's), and since the basilisk has lived like that for about 2 or 3 years now I'd say it should be about right.

She could be stressed out. I have noticed that geckos stress easily and should never be handled as soon as you get them. You let them get use to their new home for a few days then try to feed them and handle them.

I don't have Tokay's, but my Leo's stress out very easily. I agree with skjonnhet that it is probably stress. Give her some alone time & I would probably see about raising the temps. Seems a tad on the cool side......

Hello. I have a tokay gecko at home. When I got him he was frightened because he was in a new envo. Don t worry he will start eatting eventually when he getts hungry.
