Well up here I can get 70 worms for 20 bucks and a pound of food for another 30 bucks sooooo lets do the math 50 Canadian dollars = 25 cents Yankee soooo
Nah ya burnt hahaha just kidding I would hazard a guess that thats a good price.

Sounds like a great price! I'd order some but I have 30 growing right now and Tripod is the only one who eats them at the moment! How many does Chaos eat at a time?

Yes thats a good price and silkwormfarms.com has unbeatable deals if you order on free shipping fridays. Of course there are companies that offer the silkies cheaper but they kill you in shipping. Personally I found that 100 is too many for me. Pooka only eats them sparingly and although the new dragons chomps them down I am fighting a losing battle, the worms are outgrowing the dragons before they can be fed out to them (they get HUGE). Just my thoughts.

I have a bunch of cocoons right now and should be starting to see moths sometime in the next week.
Then the fun begins trying to set up for eggs and stuff.

IMO they require alot more maintenance work then any other feeder. I have to get up earlyier in the morning to feed my foods food daily because silkies need daily feeding. Also they are kinda touchy so you have to watch moisture levels and clean the container often. This is just my experience thus far though.

nah they are easy to raise so far. Mind you I bought mine at about 1 inch long and just kept feeding them... since I live in a dry climate humidity in their containers has not been an issue. Just don't leave the really big ones in the food dish for to long or you have to pull out cocoons argghhh found another one this morning Feeding them is easy and I have found that if I just cut small sections of the food I don't even have to roll flatten it out more because the worms just eat it all.
