I am looking for a little advice. I have an eight month old Australian Water Dragon (the wonderful Walter). He has never been a big eater (although he is big for his age) but for the last month he has eaten very little (about 2-3 Superworms a day, he has turned his little brown nose up to everything else). Is this normal ?. I worry a lot.

IMO as long as he is eating something, and defecating normally, there is usually little or no cause for worry. Perhaps he'd like some variety in his diet. You might try some earthworms, crix, feeder fish to see if he may be interested in them. Although I have Chinese dragons, I have also found that when they go through what I consider a "major" shed (everything sheds at once) they drastically reduce their consumption until they have shed almost entirely. Most of the time they shed in "sections", but when they are shedding ALL OVER ,at the same time, it appears to really bother them. Just make sure Walter's pooping properly. If not, you may need to try some mineral or castor oil and some warm water belly massage to see if you can relieve his discomfort.
