i have a CWD who is all by himself in quite a large enclosure for his size and i have been thinking about getting him a buddy for a while but he is very sketchy and very aggressive so im wondering if it is a good idea. i put my AWD (who is much smaller) in his tank and he tried to eat it!(luckily i was right there to save him) so i really dont know if it would be a good idea to get him a roommate. if anyone has any suggestions or comments i would really appreciate it.

Water dragons, and reptiles in general, are usually solitary animals that only come together if they have a colony social structure or for mating. If your afraid your dragon might be dominant and aggresive he likly may be. Even a relativly friendly dragon may become hostile to a cagemate, so there are no gurantees.
