Hi soundesciple, Even if you cwd looks lonely, he's most probably not. Reptiles lives alone in their natural environnement and they do not tend to feel isolated. If you still want to have 2 water dragons, you must assure their gender because putting two males in the same terrarium is very dangerous; they might fight and hurt themselves seriously. Two females is ok, but always remember that it is possible for two water dragon to be unfit to be together and they won't like each other. With a male and a female, then it is ok, but from my personnal point, the female endure so much stress from the dominating male who sometimes pursuit her for mating that I consider this as bad as putting two males together. So you see your possibilities, just be sure of your lizard's gender and the one you're buying too. Try to get them similar age, also, otherwise the older and bigger one may dominate and stress the smaller one. And your terrarium size must be suitable for two littles beasts

Bearded dragons are usually more adaptated to live in groups.. I have seen couples who lived perfectly together. I would say yes, you can, you have to care about their size; it must be similar again. I dont own any bearded dragons, I tell this from friends who own some.
