Been awhile since I posted anything here, apologies for not contributing of late. I hope folks are doing well after the holidays, we are out here in Tucson. Kizzy, our Skink, is doing well, passed his last Vet appointment with flying colors and has his appetite back after a few week break back in mid fall. I wanted to share some photos of a cage I made new years day. It was fairly cheap coming in at under $100 for all the materials, minus bulbs and my time of course. The dimensions are 4ftx2ftxft and the construction is all melamine with plain glass sliding doors. The interior seams are sealed with white silicon to prevent swelling/warping at the seams. Each side has 3 holes at 1 1/2 inch diameter for ventilation and I mounted 2 porcelain light sockets inside, 1 for a Megaray UVB bulb and 1 for a flood light.
